The generics industry development & marketing processes used to differ from those of the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. The product development process and manufacturing planning in the generic industry in general were organized in shorter time lines and at lower cost levels. Nowadays we see these three industries more converging; (bio)pharmaceutical companies are also active in (bio)generics and the generic companies are also developing original products, also due to regular authority harmonization.

 

Although organisation cultures of (bio)generic companies and thus positions for which we are searching on average differ from (bio)pharmaceutical companies, we see persons switching more and more between the mentioned industries.
