Hans van Berkum, based in Amsterdam, joined Berrink Executive Search in 1996. Hans is specialized in CEO and executive succession and board positions. His field of expertise is in biotech/pharma industry, medical device industry and also in food and agricultural industry.The focus is always on leadership and quality.

 

Prior to joining Berrink Hans was CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of a Biotech company. Hans held several senior executive positions: he was responsible for worldwide regulatory affairs major pharmaceutical companies, international medical director and European general manager of top  Biotech company and actively involved in M&A and investment projects.

 

Hans obtained a PharmD degree specializing in neuroscience from the University of Leiden (The Netherlands) and an International M.B.A. from the Dutch School of Management at Utrecht (The Netherlands).
